Meet Priscilla.

I’m a Level III Certified Sound Practitioner, Functional Breath Certified, and hold a PhD in Social Psychology with over 15 years of experience in research and public health.

Music has been part of my life from an early age, beginning with years of playing the acoustic guitar. My path into sound healing became more intentional during a period of burnout and stress, when sound offered a meaningful way to slow down, reset, and return to myself feeling more grounded and connected.

Experiencing the benefits of sound firsthand inspired me to deepen my training and create experiences for others centered on rest, stress relief, nervous system regulation, and reconnection. My background in public health research also shapes the way I approach this work. After years of creating supportive spaces where people can share difficult experiences, I try to bring that same sense of care, safety, and intention into my sound practice.

GATA SOUND HEALING is also a way to honor my favorite divine animal. Inspired by their healing vibrations, instinctive commitment to rest, and their commanding presence, this practice is a tribute to a cat’s wisdom.
